Christmas in Kansas City

I’m home for Christmas! I’ll be here almost a full week and I have so much planned I’m not sure I’ll have a spare moment.

Here are a few of the highlights:

 

Seeing the Nutcracker at the Kauffman Center. We got great seats and the venue is to die for, so I can’t wait to see it.

 

Shopping on the Plaza at Christmas is a must.

Soph and I won this contest of cute pet pictures, so I got 8 free tickets to the zoo. They have to be used before the end of the year, so if I don’t freeze to death, I might go to the zoo!

 

I only have 5 more stamps to get on my wine passport then I win a free wine tasting and food pairing! I plan on knocking them out by visiting some of the great KC area wineries (like Pirtles and Riverwood). I’m especially excited to visit Amigoni Urban Winery in the West Bottoms!

And of course, there’s all my favorite restaurants to visit. Manifesto, Pizza Shoppe (for the pink dressing!), Blanc, Nara, and anywhere on Southwest Boulevard.
