Glass Fusing Class

Every 6 months or so I like to organize a fused glass party for all the girls. Prairie Glass Studio here in Topeka is such a local gem. You can schedule a party and make basically whatever you want. There are endless creative options and Kymm, the owner, helps everyone make sure their project turns out great. This year I made a snowman ornament:

and these fun little elf legs.

It’s a perfect activity for anyone who likes to make things, and you don’t have to have any experience at all. I always love seeing how people end up making such different things and they all turn out beautifully. I love these birds my friends mom made!

My aunt made these adorable holly berry ornaments. I love the wire wrapping. Almost everyone had some sort of fun wire wrapping done on their project and I think it just makes it look perfectly finished.

My mom made cute Christmas trees that turned out neat. I love this design because you can use up some scrap and still have a pretty ornament.

There are so many different options of things for people to make. One of my friend’s sisters made this adorable snowman cookie jar!

If you’re in the KC metro area, definitely plan a trip to Prairie Glass Studio. They have scheduled classes quite often and if you have a few people you’d like to bring, you can schedule your own private party. Plus, it’s a great place to get some one of a kind gifts!
